To avoid long lines and save time, it is highly recommended that families register their ball players early.

The wait for Little League Baseball is almost over. I can almost hear the sounds of kids laughing and balls hitting bats. However, before play can begin player registration must occur. King George Little League player registration begins January 2, 2017. We expect this season to be the best ever and have taken many steps to make sure it is.

Registration Information

Online Registration

In order to speed up the wait times in line, you are encouraged to fill out your registration online prior to coming in. Registration fees can be paid with Visa or Mastercard. Required documentation / proof of residency must be verified in person at one of the registration events. Instructions will be posted on the website as well when registration officially opens.

In Person Registration

In-person registration will take place at a the following day/time(s) and location identified in the "IN PERSON REGISTRATION EVENTS" box on the right hand side of this page. Only Cash and check payments will be accepted at the in-person registration.

Proof of Age and Residency

Per Little League requirements, we will also need a copy of each player’s birth certificate (new registrants only) and THREE different proofs of residency to verify league boundary requirements. All documents must show the same KG street address and must be dated between February 1, 2016, and February 1, 2017. Residency verification is required once per calendar year.

PLEASE NOTE: The Little League Baseball and Softball School Enrollment Form will suffice for residency verification and you will not be required to bring additional documentation proving your King George residency.

Little League has made a rule change in 2014 which allows any child attending school within our boundaries to play in our league. If you go to school within our boundaries but live outside, please bring you child's school records as one of your three proofs of residency.

If you register online, you will still need to provide documentation/proof of residency at one of the registration events.

There are some special circumstances where a waver can be obtained if your child lives and goes to school outside the league's boundaries. Please contact the KGLL President or the KGLL Player Agent.

Playing Up

For those players that played with us in 2016 that are in the “gap” months for 2016. The BOD has agreed to allow the “possibility" of playing “up”. For example a 2016 league age 4 year old that turned 4 in September 2016 would still be league age 4 by the 2017 rules but would have been league age 5 under 2017 rules. Please make a request to “play up” to the Player Agent.

In the Fall, all players default to the age group they would be playing in the following Spring season. Therefore "playing up" requests are not required.

Uniforms

During registration, we will be fitting your child to uniform samples to ensure that their uniform will fit properly. If you register online, we recommend that you still come to one of the registration days for uniform fitting.

Registration Discounts/Fees

Registration fees cover the cost of all National and Local Little League charges, umpire expenses, equipment purchases, plus a complete uniform that you will keep at the conclusion of the season. You can pay with either cash, check, Visa or MasterCard (credit cards are accepted online only).

2017 Regular Season Registration Costs

BlastBall (League Age 4 year old division):
Online - $45, In Person - $50, Late (after last in-person event) - $65

All other divisions:
Online - $85, In Person - $95, Late (after last in-person event) - $125

Challengers - $25 (uniform fee)
